Shakespeare at KourionPerforming Arts for Cyprus Charities (PACC) is a volunteer group that organizes, directs and performs a Shakespeare play. Each performance is staged in the ancient Kourion Amphitheater and every penny raised that is not required to stage these productions is donated to charities in Cyprus.
ShipConShipCon offers an online master class course that is designed to provide parents with the knowledge and skills necessary to support and address the social, emotional and educational needs of their children on the autism spectrum who do NOT have learning disabilities to reach their full potential. In addition, the course provides a wealth of information for parents related to the assessment and diagnostic process, as well as how parents can interpret IQ, SPLD and educational skills tests from formal and informal diagnosis of autism spectrum condition.
Voice for AutismVoice for Autism is a non-profit organization that works for advocacy, action and support for young adults with disabilities. It works to promote independence, productivity, inclusion and advocate for better public and private policies.
Autism Support FamagustaProvides quality facilities that are based on ethical and inspiring opportunities for children and youth with autism. They provide outreach services that support children at home, Summer Club, The SMILE project which involves the construction of an Autism Center in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, which aims to house, support and educate both parents and people on the autism spectrum, among others.
CyprusAssociation for Autistic Persons (CAAP)It is a non-profit charitable organization, member of Autism Europe and the World Autism Organization, working to guarantee the lifelong rights, access to education and treatment needed by people with autism. It functions as the first Intervention Center specialized in rehabilitation, education, treatment, protection and employment for children and adults with Autism Syndrome.
APISIt is a non-profit company that provides consulting work, participation in European programs, training of professionals/therapists, training and orientation of parents, completion of benefit forms, conducting research, creation and provision of material.
Autism Spectrum Disorder - Empowering And Supporting Teachers (ASD-EAST)The project led by the University of Northampton aims to train specialist teachers in Croatia, Poland and the Republic of North Macedonia to support the effective inclusion of children with autism in education by providing them with skills, knowledge, effective strategies, locally appropriate resources and training.
