My child was just diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder now what?

In this video, Dr. Jacquie Wynn discusses the steps one can take after their child has been diagnosed with autism. The first step, she says, is to find an Autism Resource Coordinator, who can help parents find intensive early-intervention options, parent training options, as well as other resources to help address the child’s needs.

She also praises parent and sibling support groups, which can help the families of a child who has just been diagnosed with autism to learn about autism and get support from other members of the community.
