TRYING TO QUIET A LOUDAUTISTIC CHILD OR TODDLER || Autism Tips

In this Ability Life Solutions Video Favorite, Stephanie from Our LANDing Crew discusses some reactions to her children’s meltdowns she has had in the past, and some strategies she has learned to more effectively handle them now.

She discusses different situations such as being out in public or at a family gathering where her children were being too loud and how she handles them now. One important strategy Stephanie suggests is to watch for early signs of a possible meltdown, and redirect your child’s attention to something else if you see those occurring. If a meltdown still occurs, it helps to move to a quieter location, if possible.
