Sadly, bullying is a problem that many kids on the spectrum have to deal with. Fortunately, there are things that can be done to successfully address the problem. This video shares three practical ways to stop bullying so that kids with autism can feel safe at school.

In this informative video, Chelsea Budde of Good Friend, Inc. talks about how to stop bullying and promote inclusion in schools. She shares tips for how to promote a safe environment at school by teaching students what to do when a classmate is being bullied. Her advice includes:

  • Stand next to a person who in being bullied.
  • Speak up for a person being bullied.
  • Report bullying to a trusted adult.
